Program overview

Specialists in food engineering are always in demand practically in any country of the world. The program is aimed at students interested in automated lines for marmalade and chocolate production, mechanized prepacking lines for curd cakes and sausages, technological lines for kvass and beer bottling, automates for pies and crackers baking as well as in all sorts of devices for food mixing, cutting, cooking, milling, washing, drying, heating, and pressing.

In order to implement any technology for materials and food processing, it is necessary to have special equipment, engineering staff able to design, produce, operate, and repair food production machinery and equipment.

In the course of study, master students learn to design, produce, install, operate, and check machinery, equipment, and automated production lines for bread and buns, chocolate and sweets, meat and sausage, milk and beer, butter and mayonnaise.

The program also offers to study computer graphics; computer modeling of technological processes; and computer design of food equipment; properties of food products and machine building materials.

Besides, the program students will have the opportunity to learn how to prepare, produce, and pack up food products as well as develop machinery for cutting, sorting, milling, mixing, pressing, and calibration of food products.
