Program overview:

The program offers training students in research and production activities. The training is focused on practical solution of tasks of electric power energy renewable sources operation and development of power supplying systems including distributed generation.

The program is aimed at training students to become specialists of new generation owning system and fundamental knowledge of integration of distributed generation in power systems; electric energy quality; power electronics; emergency modes in electric power engineering systems; protection and control of power supplying systems including distributed generation; renewable energy; numerical and optimization methods; theory of electromagnetic field; management systems for electric machines; theory of electric networks control; power energy storage system; digital measuring systems; hydropower plants; wind power industry; control over renewable energy sources generators.

Career options:

The program graduates can work for power supplying units at industrial enterprises as well as for electric power engineering enterprises.

Continuing:

The graduates can continue their education as full-time and part-time postgraduates under “Power systems and complexes”, “Power stations and power supply systems” programs.
