The program is focused on exploring physical and chemical processes accompanying artificial building materials production; methods for research of material characteristics and structures; methods for activation of solids; modern mineral and organic binding agents; leading technologies for efficient concretes production using polymer and mineral additives; studying modern IT, math modeling, and theory of experimental planning. Much attention is paid to production environmental safety, energy saving, and quality control.
Professor Pinus B. I. is the program supervisor. All the faculty involved are holders of academic degrees. The up-to-date facilities and equipment, research and training laboratories including certificated laboratory concerned with building materials’ and constructions’ quality and safety assessment provide skill training.
The program graduates can work for building and design organizations.
The program offers research activity in the following areas: characteristics of raw materials and technogenic production wastes in Eastern Siberia, technology for production of efficient binding agents with given physical and mechanical characteristics.
