The program graduates deal with information systems and networks, their mathematical, information, and program support, ways and means for design, adjustment, production, and operation of technical and program means of information systems in different areas.
The program offers training in the development of applied information systems on the basis of theoretical computer science achievements and modern means of information technologies using system approach to research and development of information systems, methods of formalized description of system models, and methodologies for construction of data models; implementation of information systems in work at various enterprises and organizations; use of the acquired knowledge and skills to solve applied tasks for different purposes.
The program students carry out their researches and develop their projects under the supervision of the leading Professors and Associated Professors at the Department of Automated Systems, whose research interests and developments are concerned with theoretical aspects of information technologies as well as with implementation of the developments in various applied fields.
The program graduates work for leading power and communication enterprises, and companies developing, implementing, and operating information systems.
