Students and teachers of the University have won so many sports cups, medals and awards that to display all of them would require a separate achievement exhibition. Nikulina, the graduate from Metallurgy Faculty, Merited Master of Sports (coached by K. Markov) won the title of Olympic Games Champion in 1990.
